Another vlog..
Of parakeets, mirrors and I show off my new fedora and my budgerigar makes a racket. I think I'll need to muzzle him in future posts.
My new vlog featuring a noisy bird.

I don't know how the camera's mic keeps picking up and magnifying Tenno's voice, but it excels at it. Anyone got an idea how to mitigate such a thing (other than throwing a towel over the bird)?

Love the hat... very 1950s Rat Pack. I kept expecting you to start belting out "My Way". ;-)

My brother-in-law and I were talking about this a few weeks ago! Mics, that is. IIRC, he was explaining to me that they pick up sound from all angles, so you have to block off the areas that you don't want sound coming from. He gave the example of the sound guys at football games, who keep their mics in those big bubble things to block out the noise from the crowd so they can hear the players. (One of these guys.)

So, my guess would be to build a bubble or maybe a cone around the mic, and see if that quiets the interference from Tenno.

Hi, long time viewer first time commenter. You mentioned that you enjoy fedoras but fill guilty about buying them from big retailers like Walmart.

Well you might want to try the local Good Will or anyother thrift shop. That way the money will be going to a local charity or business.

I go to Goodwill and thrift shops a lot, but around here, such accessories do not last long or don't show up or if they do, they are a size too small for my big head. In that, I feel justified in this purchase. Whenever possible I try to buy from individuals/secondhand, but it is not always so.
