Of chinchillas, toy dogs, Baby Phat, Barbie, and objectification.
This Kimora Lee Barbie makes me ill. The worst part is that they refer to her (real life) dog as the "cutest accessory". And no, they didn't mean that in the "some accessories sold separately" sense. The dog is Kimora Lee's accessory.
I'm sick of celebrities encouraging the objectification of animals and their own sex (in the case of females). And even though I don't have much of an opinion on fur, I think the "faux" chinchilla in this outfit is uncalled for. It's obviously a warm weather ensemble, so the coat comes off as a tacky status symbol. Maybe I find this so offensive because I've read Leigh's blog post about adorable rescue chinchillas.
Agh, there's just so much wrong with that doll.
