Gained five pounds.
For the first time since I was fourteen, I'm officially 180 pounds. Huh. I don't see it in the mirror. My belly feels as bulgy as it always does. My clothes still fit. Where'd it go? And where'd it come from?

I have two theories:

1. All the extra bellydancing has caused me to gain muscle mass and hence, weight.

2. I've been drinking too much beer. No, I'm not a lush, but there is a particularly tasty hefeweizen that always makes me think of tscheese and New York. Speaking of New York, yes, there's a part 2 coming your way! Kinda lost momentum after the Double Whammy.

I'm having the same deal. Only with 150lbs. I used to be 130. Still have pudge and booty, but I"ve always had those. And I'm still wearing the clothes I wore in high school. *shrug* Maybe the Earth's gravitational field is increasing.

I have gained significantly more than 5 lbs and most of my clothes still fit. I think it's muscle.

I'm not too worried.

Rawr bellydancing. Teach me.

Yeah, totally muscle. Earlier this summer when I was trying to exercise more, I was maintaining weight but looking fitter. Then I stopped and actually lost weight, what with fat weighing less than muscle. This is why numbers on the scale aren't the best.
